NEW WORLD RECORD!- Robson Silvestre Soars to New Heights with world record Paramotor Flight with his Davinci Disco!
Ourinhos, São Paulo, Brazil – Robson Silvestre, a dedicated aviator from Ourinhos, São Paulo, has shattered expectations with an extraordinary paramotor flight, covering a staggering 676 kilometers. Despite having less than two years of paramotor flying experience, Silvestre's achievement highlights his remarkable skill and the exceptional capabilities of his high-performance equipment.
On this momentous flight, Robson Silvestre took to the skies with his reliable Davinci Disco 22m 160kg ppg wing. Weighing 106 kg himself, Silvestre was propelled by the robust 172cc Cors-Air Black Devil engine, mounted on a Titanium chassis expertly developed by CAVOK Racing. This custom chassis boasted a 153cm rim and a 24-liter fuel tank. To further boost his endurance, Silvestre added two extra 18-liter fuel bags on each side, allowing him to carry a total of 60 liters of gasoline.
Navigating through severe inland conditions, Silvestre demonstrated outstanding piloting skills. The pinnacle of his journey was the FAI triangle flight segment, during which he covered an impressive 649 kilometers in just 10 hours and 59 minutes, maintaining a consistent average speed of 62 km/h.
He also gave a very good testimonail on the disco with good glide and speed without compromising smooth and easy handling as a high performance ppg glider.
The flight commenced with a flawless, unassisted takeoff and concluded with a precise landing slightly before his Dry Pane Takeoff point. By closing the Triangle, Robson not only met but exceeded expectations, showcasing his adept planning and handling under challenging conditions.
