Team DAVINCI Finland closed out an outstanding competition

Team DAVINCI Finland enjoyed an outstanding competition period with podium finishes in two very different air sports disciplines: paragliding cross-country and paramotor slalom.

One-Two Finish in Paragliding Cross-Country

At the Finnish Open XC League Round 3 in Oripää, Team DAVINCI Finland secured an impressive one-two finish in the paragliding cross-country competition. Both pilots flew the DAVINCI Mambo, showcasing its outstanding performance, glide, and efficiency in demanding XC conditions — a discipline in which pilots choose their own routes while maximizing distance and speed within the assigned task.

Bronze Medal at Finland's First Official Paramotor Slalom Championship

The following weekend, Väinö "FlyDaddy" Weckström claimed the bronze medal at the 1st Finnish Open Paramotor Slalom Championships, the first FAI Category 2-sanctioned paramotor slalom competition ever held in Finland. Flying the DAVINCI Disco, he reached the podium in his very first paramotor slalom competition, highlighting the wing's precision, agility, and confidence-inspiring handling in this demanding, technical discipline.

Two Disciplines, One Strong Result

These results demonstrate the versatility of DAVINCI wings across two very different disciplines: cross-country paragliding with the Mambo, and paramotor slalom with the Disco.

"We're proud to represent DAVINCI in competition. A one-two finish in the Finnish XC League with the Mambo and a bronze medal in Finland's first official paramotor slalom championship with the Disco made it an unforgettable competition period," said Väinö "FlyDaddy" Weckström.
